Check your targets and give feedback

Written for: Pupils.

If you have a support plan, your school might share your targets with you. A target is something you’re working towards, with ideas for how adults will help you. On the Targets page, you can read your targets and tell adults how they’re going.

In the menu, click Targets. Each target has its own card. A card shows:

  • your target
  • how adults will help you
  • something you could try
  1. Click a target to open it.
  2. Read Adults will help by and You could try.
  3. Under How is this target feeling?, choose the answer that fits best:
    • This is helping me
    • This is not helping yet
    • I want adults to know
    • I need something different
  4. If you want to, write a message under What do you want adults to know?
  5. Click Save target feedback.

Your answer now shows on the target’s card. You can change it later. Just open the target again, choose a new answer and save it.

The page says “Your school staff who manage your support plan can read your feedback. This is not live chat. If you need help now, speak to a trusted adult.”

So an adult might not read your message straight away. If you need help now, talk to a teacher or another adult you trust at school. See Get help or tell someone you’re worried.

If your school replies to your feedback, you’ll see Your school replied: on the target’s card. Open the target to read it under Reply from your school.

If you see “This is an archived support plan. You can still read your targets.”, your plan has finished. You can still read your targets, but you can’t give feedback on them.

What you see What to do
“Your school has not shared targets here yet.” Your school hasn’t shared any targets with you here. You don’t need to do anything.
“Shared support is not currently available. Your school can help with your support.” Ask your teacher if you want to talk about your support.
“We could not load your support plan.” Click Try again. If it keeps happening, tell your teacher.
“Unable to save your target feedback.” Wait a moment, then click Save target feedback again.
