Give a colleague access to specific pages

Written for: School leaders, SENCos, DSLs and Student Radar administrators.

Your school decides who can use Student Radar, and each colleague’s role decides which pages they get. A Teacher, a SENDCo and an Office colleague each see the pages their job needs. So to give a colleague the pages they need, give them the right role.

  • Role: the role you choose when you invite a colleague sets their default pages and the actions they can take on them. For example, Head of Year and Attendance Officer each come with pages for that job.
  • Class access: for pupils, you can limit a colleague to one class or group instead of the whole school.

You can’t pick individual pages for one colleague from Administration → Staff.

  1. In the sidebar, open Administration and choose Staff.
  2. Find the colleague under Add colleagues.
  3. Under Invite role, choose the role whose pages match their job.
  4. Under Class access, leave All classes and groups or choose the class or group they work with.
  5. Click Send.

See Invite a member of staff for the full steps.
