SEND / Pupil Plans and EHCPs

Passports, plans and the records around them, each with its own job.

Pupil Passports and the plan records around them, each kept to its own purpose, with permissions and human control over what is statutory.

Student Radar keeps evidence and statutory workflows together. The SENCO and authorised staff remain responsible for decisions and support.

The working surface

What it does

Pupil Passports hold the child's one-page picture for the adults who work with them; the plan records around it each do their own job.

01 / 06

Pupil Passports

Turn the pupil’s strengths, needs and helpful strategies into a practical profile staff can use every day.

Consults

Limits made explicit

What it deliberately does not do

01

Six records are not one screen. Each is opened, edited and governed on its own terms.

02

Statutory records stay under human control. Drafting help never approves anything, and permissions decide who sees what.

03

A record being present does not make it complete or current; review dates and gaps stay visible so people check.

Evidence in context

Distinct on purpose

The records stay distinct because their jobs are distinct; the pupil connects them, not a merge.

  • Pupil Passports as the one-page picture
  • Plan records each with their own governance
  • Gaps and review states visible across them
