Compare Student Radar with the tools your school already knows
CPOMS, MyConcern, Provision Map, Class Charts, Arbor, Bromcom, SIMS, Insight, Medical Tracker and others each solve a useful piece of school life. The trouble starts when one pupil needs several pieces at once — usually when the timetable has chosen drama as a management technique. Build your stack below and see exactly where it joins up, and where it doesn’t.

How this comparison is built
So you can defend it to anyone who asks — including the people who sign off.
“Not marketed” isn’t “can’t do it”
Competitor coverage reflects what each tool publicly markets — not a paid benchmark, and vendors weren’t consulted. “Not marketed” means a vendor doesn’t headline that area, not that its tool can’t do it. Pricing is sourced separately, from vendor pages and official G-Cloud listings.
Checked against live pages (July 2026)
Every tool was reviewed against its current pages. Each tool below shows when it was last checked and links the sources behind its ratings and its price.
Our own column is self-assessed
Student Radar’s ratings are our own assessment against the areas you can ask to see on a demo — not independently audited. Treat the column as a claim to test, and hold us to it.
Tell us if it’s out of date
Public marketing changes and can differ from what a demo reveals. If a rating looks wrong, tell us and we’ll correct it.
Want us to map your actual school stack?
Tell us what you already use. We’ll show what Student Radar can replace, what should stay, and where it should sit beside the MIS. The aim is fewer orphaned actions, not a ceremonial bonfire of perfectly decent software.
