Is Student Radar an alternative to Medical Tracker?
- For some schools. Student Radar includes medical-needs, first-aid, medication and healthcare-plan workflows, so a school can compare it with Medical Tracker on the same tasks. This is not a blanket replacement claim: a school that relies on Medical Tracker’s health depth, parent approval or trust reporting may have good reasons to keep it.
- 02
Is Student Radar a clinical system?
- No. Student Radar records the school’s information about medical needs, first aid, medication and healthcare plans. It does not diagnose, give medical advice or replace a healthcare professional. Plans are agreed with parents and healthcare professionals, and trained staff follow them under the school’s policy for supporting pupils with medical conditions.
- 03
How should we compare the two on medication?
- Use the same tasks in both demos: a dose given, a dose not given, a correction and a stock movement. Ask each supplier to show who recorded it, how it appears on the MAR and how the medical lead reviews it.
- 04
Does Student Radar replace every school system?
- No. Student Radar is not an MIS replacement. Core roll, census, finance and timetable administration should remain in the school MIS, and a specialist product may stay where it is the best authority for a particular job.
- 05
How much does Student Radar cost?
- £4.25 per pupil per year before volume discounts of 5% from 300 pupils, 10% from 500, 15% from 800 and 20% from 1,500. £250 annual minimum, excluding VAT. The annual platform price includes every standard product area. Medical Tracker publishes a starting price of £389 a year for primary, secondary and boarding schools, with trust pricing on application.

Can we see Student Radar before purchasing?
- Yes. Book a 30-minute walkthrough. We will follow a medication round, a first-aid record and an IHCP review using invented pupil data, so your medical lead can compare them with the same tasks in Medical Tracker.
