Assess / Report Automation

Scheduled assessment archives and controlled exports

Student Radar helps assessment teams schedule private CSV archives, inspect run history and expiry, and make controlled one-off exports. Optional colleague notices, an archived file and a completed download are different events to verify.

Staff choose schedules, recipients and export purposes. Archive creation, accepted email notices and downloads remain separate evidence; links do not grant access.

Schedule cards show active or paused operation and run history, while the overview makes school email status explicit. Fictional example.

Prepare, check and choose the next action

Keep regular assessment archives and inspect what each run produced.

Schedule private assessment CSV archives, inspect runs and expiry, manage optional colleague notices and make controlled one-off exports with their own checks.

  1. 01

Name and time a useful assessment archive

The edit sheet keeps report, cadence and recipient arrangements distinct.

  2. 02

Keep a reviewed schedule paused until needed

Changing the fictional schedule name retains its Paused state and does not create a run.

  3. 03

    Inspect the actual run outcome

History distinguishes archived and failed runs, row counts, expiry and notice outcomes.

A reporting process with a visible next step

An assessment archive routine with visible operation

Supported cadence, next run and paused state help staff maintain a purposeful archive schedule.

A run outcome that can be checked

Row counts, failures, expiry and notice states show what happened without turning uncertainty into success.

Notices and downloads under deliberate control

Recipient approval, personal opt-out and reasoned archive downloads support useful access without emailing pupil data.

Questions about Report Automation

Can we schedule a private assessment archive?

Yes. Create and manage an archive schedule, then inspect its run history and any blocked result before relying on the archive.

Can colleagues choose report-ready email notices?

Optional notices and My report emails have separate controls. A notice is not the archive itself or proof that a colleague downloaded it.

The value of a connected school

Learning makes more sense with the context beside it.

Bring assessment evidence into the conversations already happening around a pupil, a class or a school priority.

Follow a connection to see what it makes possible

Relevant context, with access set by each staff member’s role and responsibilities. Staff decide the response.

  1. Attendance + Assess

Ask what learning the pupil could access

Review attendance alongside recorded attainment before planning the next teaching response. Staff can investigate gaps without treating absence as an explanation on its own.

  2. SEND + Assess

Look at progress against the pupil’s targets

Keep small steps, support targets and provision evidence in reach, so the review reflects the pupil’s learning and the support staff have recorded.

  3. Leadership + Assess

Carry the evidence into school improvement

Use assessment and outcomes alongside attendance and behaviour reporting to test school priorities, assign actions and come back to the evidence at review.
