Attendance Tracking
Attendance Tracking compares booked sessions with recorded attendance, and turns a missing mark into an owned follow-up rather than an absence.
Part of the Attendance and Statutory Evidence workflow
Everything included: £4.25 per pupil/year before volume discounts of 5% to 20%, £250 minimum/year, excluding VAT. See pricing
Alternative Provision / Attendance and Statutory Evidence
Compare the sessions that were booked with what was recorded. Participation counts only sessions with an official mark, coverage shows how many expected sessions have been marked, and missing marks become follow-up tasks rather than absences.
Figures show what has been recorded. Missing marks are flagged for staff to follow up, never filled in for them.
From register to evidence
The same session records feed tracking, reporting and the evidence export.

Start follow-up turns a missing mark into an owned task, and the review is recorded with a next review date.
03
Compare four weeks with the four before, then preview and export the evidence as CSV or as a PDF with your branding.

Attendance Reporting compares this four weeks with the last, shows persistent and severe absence, and breaks rates down by pupil and commissioning school.

Recorded, missing, absent
Participation divides attended sessions by sessions with an official mark. Unmarked sessions are left out and shown as gaps, so a missing record never quietly changes the figure.
Reporting
Attendance Reporting compares the latest four weeks with the four before, counts persistent absence below 90% and severe absence below 50%, and shows an eight-week trend against a 90% line.
Registered-setting evidence
Whether an export counts as evidence for a registered setting depends on the regulatory status your provision has recorded and reviewed.
Percentages come with the sessions behind them and the marks still missing.
Staff can tell low attendance from incomplete recording.
Persistent and severe absence are visible by pupil and by commissioning school.
Exports are previewed, branded and audited, and nothing is sent automatically.

The value of a connected school
Provider staff use the same safeguarding and health tools as mainstream schools, and commissioning schools on Student Radar have their own side of the placement.

Safeguarding + Alternative Provision
Provider staff can raise a concern and authorised DSLs work it on the DSL Action Board, with the chronology and record transfer in the same place. Safeguarding records are never shared through commissioner access.

Authorised staff can check medical needs, medications and healthcare plans for the young people in the provision before a session, and record first aid when something happens.

Schools that commission placements keep a provider register with due-diligence checks, placement checks before, during and after the placement, and an evidence pack they can export.
