Questions for the working day

The questions this answers

What is due this morning?

The medication round shows what is due and what is coming, by pupil and by time, so the person administering works from the day's list rather than memory.

What was given, and what was missed?

Each administration is recorded as given, missed or unavailable, with the date, time and who recorded it. A missed dose is visible rather than lost.

What about controlled drugs?

Controlled-drug movements carry the extra controls schools expect, including witness recording where it is required.

Are we about to run out?

Stock sits against a reorder threshold, and expiry dates are recorded with each medication, so running low or out of date shows on the list rather than in the moment.

Evidence in context

The round, accountable

The day's administration list, the record of what happened, and the stock position live together, so the question "did it happen?" has a place to be answered.

  • Due, given, missed and unavailable as recorded states
  • Witness recording on controlled-drug movements where required
  • Stock against a reorder threshold, and expiry dates recorded
