School schedule planning and timetable availability

Student Radar helps authorised staff inspect school commitments, person and resource timetables, and feasible slots. Where enabled, reviewed MIS adoption, availability changes, temporary holds and displacement decisions support scheduling; a suggested slot is not a booked event.

Staff authorise reservations and scheduling changes. Search results, temporary holds, displacement decisions and committed source events keep their own states. The available write controls depend on the active engine and current release settings.

School operations

Keep the next decision connected to its context

Read authorised school commitments and their source context, then review feasible slots, availability and timetable changes through the permitted route.

  1. 01

Follow the event back to its owner

Open the Event workspace to read the actual occurrence, allocations and source identity. Continue in the owning workflow for its specialist decision.

  2. 02

Evaluate the actual people and resources

Choose the school date, bounded window and selected allocations before searching. A candidate explanation is distinct from a temporary reservation or a completed booking.

  3. 03

    Review timetable adoption explicitly

Stage a completed MIS snapshot, inspect its full diff and make the deliberate authority decision before publication. Later changes remain staged for review.

Questions about Schedule Centre

Can we inspect a person or resource timetable?

Yes. Schedule Centre brings authorised commitments and their source context into timetable views for the intended person or resource.

Can we review availability before making a scheduling change?

Yes. Where enabled and authorised, feasible-slot review, availability and capacity controls support the decision. Evaluation, a temporary hold and published timetable changes are different operations.
